Hi. My Name is Sammy and I...{LOVE Halloween!!!}

So I had a [brilliant] idea to start a Thoughts & Things Thursday #thoughtsthingsthursday!  Every Thursday (or when I remember that it's TTT! lol) I'll write a post about something that I either REALLY LOVE or REALLY LIKE or REALLY DISLIKE...maybe I'll try it out for a couple of weeks and see if it's interesting and enjoyable or not and we'll go from there!  So for my first installment I'm starting with...

Hi.  My name is Sammy and I LOVE LOVE LOVE Halloween! 3 LOVEs because I love it that much! ;)

#iHeartHalloween!  Like, major!  I love costumes and candy and face paint and pumpkin carving and candy and trick-or-treating and and candy and ABC Family Halloween movies....I could keep going I swear!  I have a love/hate relationship with really scary movies and haunted houses - meaning I'll totally watch/go in them, but I'll be scared out of my mind, and I'll love every minute of it! :)

It IS fall (although it IS still 90deg where I live!) and it's already the 3rd day in October so I feel like I can start being festive! I was at Target today (obviously!) and the way they're decked out you'd think Halloween is tomorrow!

I opened my pantry this morning and took this pic for you:
My son 'thinks' I bought these just for him ;) Y.U.M.!!!
I go overboard buying candy!  There is something about individually wrapped, snack-sized chocolates that seriously sends me to the moon!  When I was actively counting points on Weight Watchers I seriously stocked up on Halloween candy to have throughout the year - or at least the next 3 or 4 months, before everything got stale! - I knew exactly how many calories and points each piece had! Serious portion control - as long as you didn't eat the whole bag in one's called will-power people! {I kid!}  More info on this in a later post - promise!

My older son will be a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle (because according to him nothing else matters in the whole world!) and my little guy will be a pirate (because that's what my older one was a couple of years ago - it happens to most 2nd children!)

As for now that's all I have to say about that!  I'm sure there will be a handful more posts about my #favoriteholiday!

Who else loves Halloween?
What are you and/or your kids dressing up as this year?

I'll be back later with a WOD later (hopefully!)
