I actually did my weigh in yesterday but I wanted to wait to write about it today. I think Fridays - for me, at least - are a good WI day. In my head it helps me transition from weekday to weekend (although being a stay-at-home mom, isn’t it all the same anyway?!) I have always weighed in towards the end of the work week because it works for me - you know the saying, if it ain’t broke…
So my weight this week stayed the same - maintenance mode in full effect. Reflecting on my week I had a lot of good, strong workouts. I tried to do at least something every day. Can’t ask for more than that! My old mentality was if I didn't have an hour to dedicate to working out I would forget about it all together - it’s such a fallacy (depending on your fitness level and where you are on your wellness journey, of course!) My at-home workouts are proof that you can get a killer, kick butt workout in less time than it takes to drive to and from the gym! HASfit has a motivational quote and I love it…(This isn't the exact quote of their's because I can’t find it on their website now)
In the time you’re debating whether you want to workout or not, you could have already been exercising! Is that not SO true??
I will try to be back later with either a WOD post or a new post. One of these days I want to write about what I recommend on a longer car ride with little kids - or more aptly titled - What Works for Us!
