WOD - October 16, 2013

I LOVE my walks!  The weather is tolerable and my little one is not giving me any trouble about being in the stroller - yet! lol

I started my walk and about a 1:30 (minutes, lol) into it I realized that the distance on my Garmin was in feet...feet?  Hello, what about miles??  So I stopped, reset it, and continued on....that's when I realized..DUH, up until 0.1 miles it tell you the distance in feet...aaahhhh, ooooops!  

So here is my walk, split in 2 parts lol  (And my Starbucks Caramel Frappuccino Light that I snagged on the way home - guilty pleasure!)



So after my little 1.25 mile walk I had about 10 minutes until our library Mommy & Me class - I decided on burpees..my fav!

I did 3 sets of 10 burpees (including the push-up) and in between each set I rested for a (super quick!) 30 seconds before starting the next 10 burpees.  Sounds simple but I was sweaty and pretty out of breath!

That was the extent of my workout this morning.  A definite #wycwyc and it ended up being a decently good workout!  I have a mom's night out dinner tonight so I won't have time to do anything else - if I were home I'd probably try to do a Bender video or some strength training...but I'm OK with going out with some girlfriends and a glass of wine instead! :)
