WOD - October 21, 2013

It's Monday - which is officially known as "Walking Day" for me!  My friend J and I drop the big ones at school and off we go to the park for a chit chat and a stroller stroll with the little ones...water and Lucky Charms in tow ;)

In exactly 30 minutes we covered 1.75 miles, which was just perfect.  It was a hot, but beautiful, 87*F!  So we ended our walk at the covered playground so the little ones could play around - a handful of our friends and their kids were there too so it was a good time!

I'm off to do a video from Melissa's archives, a Full Body Workout! It looks nice and sweaty so I'm excited!!  I saw from the description there are dive bombers and V-ups....good times! :)

{{UPDATED:  So I just finished the workout - and I am sweating!  It was from June 2012 and it was one that I had never done before!  It actually had a couple of exercises that I had never even heard of before so that was exciting...and it was great!  My legs, shoulders and abs are exhausted!

I guess back then Melissa didn't upload full-length, real-time workouts, so this was just her going through about 5 reps of each exercise (I was wondering how it was only 7 minutes long! lol).  Anyway, I paused it in between each set of exercises and completed 20 reps of each at my own pace.  It probably took me 12 minutes - although I wasn't timing myself!  Check it out and let me know what you think!}}

One last thing - have you heard about the Blogtober Challenge that The Sits Girls are hosting?? It's a great way to meet new bloggers and get new followers!   I've mentioned it on Twitter a few times....go check it out!

  3. My weaknesses are frozen yogurt and gummy candies. I can't have them anywhere near me. Cereal is a close third though! I agree with you on that one!

    1. Oh yes - fro yo!...good one, Sara!! When we go to the "make your own" yogurt places I literally fill mine up as if it needs to last me the next week - and then devour it in one sitting, obviously! lol

  4. Well done on a great and sweaty workout!!

    Foods I can't be trusted around changes all the time at the moment. Since starting intuitive eating it has been a process of kind of just going through phases of different foods that were previously 'forbidden' or 'bad'...I've been through my ice cream phase, my mug cake phase, my sushi phase and now going through my hot chip phase!!

    1. Thanks Jan! Yea, it's hard to switch your thinking when certain foods were previously off limits....AKA you'd want to binge on them because they weren't allowed! And what is a hot chip??
